Looking at your work Em , I get a strong feeling that you are made to be a pattern designer. You have done a great job in completing both of the tasks, talking colour and taking pattern. I love that you have used many techniques to demonstrate your vision when it comes to these two tasks, you have a good sense to experimentation which is very important when it comes to making designs. In Talking colour my favourite image of yours is the one with flowers with a black background for me its the most visually captivating and I can feel the confidence in this painting of yours also I very much like the way you have combined bricks into your work it really demonstrates that you have gone out of your way to look for inspiration around London. In task 2 , I can se you have used a great variety of colour , some are more lighter and some are more striking like the painting with blue and red , I think you should go that direction when you are choosing your colours , something more eye catching instead of so “soft” also in the near future you could starts experimenting with photoshop to add more variety into your design but also to manipulate your work you already have and this will inspire you for new patterns and new skills . Overall , you have a good eye for pattern making and you should be very proud of yourself.
