Here i took inspiration of picassos painting which i captured a few months ago when i was in NYC moma called ”les mesmoilles d’avignon” i loved the colours in this painting so i decided to my version of it . with pencils and a black marker. a4

Looking at your work, I can already see a strong abstract perspective in the way you see colours. However, even though you have only uploaded a few designs for “Talking Colour” and not yet Way of seeing/”Talking Pattern”, I can still see the exploration of colour and techniques. I like how you haven’t limited yourself to a certain colour palette showing that you’re experimenting and being free with the task. I find how you think about shadows in your second image fascinating because you’re taking that next step about how light and shadows can give a different feel/look to your design. Which I think is quite successful. I found the first image to also be highly successful because of the technique used to get a mirrored image as well as texture. Simplistic but highly effective. In addition, the fourth image I believe gives an impressionistic style of art as well as a graphic style with its use of chunky, flat, solid, parts of colour. Additionally, to move forward you could start using different dry materials such as graphite pencils, fine liner(thin and thick)wax crayons and colour pencils. These materials give different textures and styles, giving you variety. Which could help you explore more. You could also start thinking about using more contrasting colours because this could give you a more impactful drawing, motif or pattern. Furthermore, to help you move forward you could visit spots like Camden market, Borough Market, South London etc. Places that are rich with colour, shapes, culture that could inspire you and help you generate more designs.
